Mailing

Promote yourself, but try to be original so people will actually want to keep or use what you send them. Around random moments I like to send mailing to old and potential clients. For example I send this out at the start of spring of 2013. The pattern is printed on flower-paper and I included instructions on how to use it (all my own design).

Because it’s fun to do, receive and you create a bond with they person. They’ll might think of you when they need something, or want to recommend someone. It doesn’t have to be expensive and if at all possible (if it goes with your shop/style) it’s of course awesome when it’s handmade. Add a business card, that’s always good. Try to stay under 20-50 grams so you won’t have to spend that much on shipping.
